OnePlus has officially announced the launch date for its latest true wireless earbuds, the OnePlus Buds 4. Scheduled to debut on July 8 at 2 PM IST, the earbuds will be introduced in India alongside the upcoming smartphones Nord 5 and Nord CE 5. Sales will commence via OnePlus India’s website and Amazon. Buyers can choose between two finishes: Storm Grey and Zen Green.
The OnePlus Buds 4 will offer adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC), with the ability to suppress external sound up to 55dB. The earbuds are also equipped with Transparency Mode, providing users the option to stay aware of their surroundings without removing the earbuds.
A triple-mic configuration—featuring feed-forward, feedback, and talk microphones—will enable AI-based voice enhancement and call noise suppression. This setup aims to deliver improved audio clarity during calls.
The device supports Bluetooth 5.4, enabling faster and more stable connections. Dual-device pairing will allow users to switch between two Bluetooth sources without interruption. The earbuds also integrate Steady Connect, a signal-boosting feature designed to enhance outdoor connectivity.
Gamers will benefit from the dedicated Gaming Mode that offers latency as low as 47 milliseconds, optimizing audio-video sync during play sessions.
The earbuds are expected to provide up to 11 hours of standalone playback and up to 45 hours total with the charging case. Swipe-based volume control gestures will be supported for ease of use.
According to product listings, the Buds 4 will support real-time AI translation with a tap-to-activate function, enabling on-the-go language assistance.
